The 17th Odesa International Film Festival is introducing a dedicated accreditation for actors for the first time — The Actor’s Lab. The programme is designed for both professional actors and those just beginning their careers. This year, the Odesa International Film Festival will take place in Kyiv from 27 August to 4 September with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
The Actor’s Lab accreditation provides the opportunity to:
attend intensive workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and lectures led by leading film industry professionals, including directors, casting directors, cinematographers, acting coaches, and more;
connect with and build relationships with the professionals you may collaborate with on and off screen in the future;
attend lectures at the Ukrainian Film School, subject to availability;
attend screenings and other events of the 17th Odesa International Film Festival, subject to availability.
The Head of The Actor’s Lab is casting director and member of the Ukrainian Film Academy Oryna Petrova, whose works include “Khovayuchi kolushnyu”, “Vitya”, “THE NBR case”, “Zozuli”, “Bucha”, and other projects.
The main venue for The Actor’s Lab is the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv Podil City Centre (17–19 Bratska Street). The detailed programme of The Actor’s Lab will be announced at a later date.
The accreditation fee is UAH 990.
