The 17th Odesa International Film Festival invites active military personnel and combat veterans to apply for complimentary accreditation reserved for Ukraine’s defenders.
It is thanks to the courage and dedication of Ukraine’s defenders that our country continues to protect its freedom and independence. Their bravery makes it possible for events like this festival to take place. As a gesture of respect and gratitude, the Odesa International Film Festival is offering free accreditation to Ukrainian defenders.
This year, the 17th Odesa International Film Festival will take place from 27 August to 4 September in Kyiv, with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
The Defender Accreditation Gives An Opportunity to:
Access to all festival screenings with advance booking or subject to seat availability.
Access to all Film Industry Office professional events without the need to reserve tickets.
The accreditation is free of charge and subject to prior review. When completing the application form, applicants are asked to upload a photo or scanned copy of their military ID or combat veteran certificate.
The document’s series and number may be concealed, and personal data will not be shared with third parties.
If you do not wish or are unable to upload a copy of your ID, you may instead choose a screening and present your military or veteran identification to a volunteer at the entrance. You will be admitted subject to seat availability.
Applications for complimentary military accreditation can be submitted via the festival’s website: https://new.oiff.com.ua/en/defenders2026
