The FIPRESCI jury for the 15th Odesa International Film Festival has been announced

The jury of the International Federation of Film Press FIPRESCI for the 15th OIFF included art historian Oksana Volosheniyk, film critic and art historian Mila Novikova, and film critic and festival selector Alexander Gusev.

Oksana Volosheniyk

Art historian, Head of the Board of the Ukrainian Film Critics of since 2023, professor of the Department of Film Studies of KNUTKIT named after I. K. KARPENKA-KAROHO, expert of media education programs of the Academy of the Ukrainian Press. As a film critic, she contributed to "Detektor media", etc.; author of film studies "History of cinema of Ukraine. Vol. 2" (co-author, 2016); "Olexandr Dovzhenko: between totalitarianism and the national idea. Encyclopedic dictionary. Vol. 1" (co-author, 2023). She is a board member at the National Film Critics Award “KINOKOLO”, member of FIPRESСI.

Mila Novikova

Film critic, art historian and festival organizer. In 2023, Mila Novikova was appointed head of Audiovisual Art and Production at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Karyi Theatre, Cinema and Television University. Since 2008, she has been a researcher of the department of screen and stage arts and cultural studies of the M. T. Rylskyi Institute of Art History, Folklore and Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 2000-2008 headed the program division of the Kyiv International Film Festival Molodist. Mila Novikova is a member of the Film Critics Union of Ukraine,  the National Filmmakers Union of Ukraine.

Alexandr Gusev

Film critic, festival programmer. Film reviewer of the Ukrinform and Yabl, festival programmer of Euregion Film Forum and SHIFT Film Festival. Member of the Ukrainian Association of Cinematographers, member of the Ukrainian Film Academy, board member of the Union of the Ukranian Film Critics. Expert of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

The 15th Odesa International Film Festival will take place from July 12 to 20, 2024, in Kyiv.
