The 16th Odesa International Film Festival has presented its official poster.

The 16th Odesa International Film Festival (OIFF), which will be held from September 24th to October 4th, 2025 in Kyiv, has presented its official poster.

This year's poster is a kind of reflection of the current state of Ukraine - red-hot, covered with wounds and cracks, but whole and strong. It is the culture, of which cinema is an important part, that is a powerful tool for healing and unifying the country. The iconic image of Odesa and the Odesa International Film Festival – Duke – on the poster complements the red heart as a symbol of our humanity, resilience and ability to empathize. This is all emphasized by the slogan of this year's OIFF – "Resilience in our DNA".

"On our poster this year, you can see cracks – they speak both about the traces of trauma and about the paths that are born through them. Someone will see in it the burning earth, someone – the nervous system of the country. But there is a symbol that unites us - the heart of Duke. This is the heart of Odesa, the heart of our festival. It also beats in Kyiv as a reminder of our identity, the sensitivity and power of culture", – notes the general director of the Odesa International Film Festival Anna Machukh.

The 16th Odesa International Film Festival, which will be held in Kyiv from September 24 to October 4, 2025, remains one of the most important events in the cultural life of Ukraine. The festival will bring together the best examples of national and European cinema, offer the audience exclusive premieres, meetings with prominent figures in the film industry and a rich program of events.
