The 17th Odesa International Film Festival Announces the Jury for the Film Industry Office

The 17th Odesa International Film Festival is pleased to announce the jury for its Film Industry Office section. This year’s jury brings together Ukrainian and international film industry professionals. They will evaluate the participating projects and select the winners of the Film Industry Office 2026 programme.

This year, the Odesa International Film Festival will take place in Kyiv from 27 August to 4 September 2026, with the support of the State Film Agency of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. The Film Industry Office section will run from 28 August to 2 September.

The Jury of the Film Industry Office of the 17th Odesa International Film Festival consists of:

Yevhen Rachkovskyi is a Ukrainian film producer and member of the creative collective TABOR Collective. He has produced the short fiction films Solitude and Black Dog, as well as the documentaries Fragments of Ice, Ukraine: Night Life During the Resistance, and Kyiv Soloists. Among his most recent productions are the documentary Militantropos, which premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival, and Silent Flood, which received the award for Best Cinematography at IDFA. He is a member of both the European Film Academy and the Ukrainian Film Academy and an alumnus of the EURODOC and Emerging Producers programmes.

Jean-Baptiste Bailly-Maître is a producer and sales agent with extensive experience in international film production and financing. Since the founding of Alpha Violet in 2011, he has been a partner at the company and co-founder of its production arm, Alpha Violet Production. He is a member of the CNC Aide au Cinéma du Mondecommittee, the CICLIC committee, and as an expert for Eurimages.

Maryna Kaplun is the Head of Content at Kyivstar TV and co-producer of the original series Tykha Nava, Vitia, and Second Vitia. She has worked in the media industry for more than 13 years. In 2017, she joined the 1+1 media team, and since 2022 she has headed the content division at Kyivstar TV.

Simone Baumann has served as Managing Director of German Films since 2019. She began her career in documentary filmmaking at the broadcaster MDR in Dresden. She later became co-managing director of LE Vision Film- und Fernsehproduktion and executive producer of documentary projects at Saxonia Entertainment. Since 2005, she has represented German Films in Eastern European countries, and in 2019 she was appointed Managing Director of the organisation.

Oleksii Terentiev is a producer and co-founder of UPHub. He has worked in the media industry for over 30 years. His filmography includes more than 50 projects, among them the feature film Road to Berlin and the television series The Pleasure Principle (an international co-production between Ukraine, Poland, and the Czech Republic), Oriental Sweets, and others. He is a member of the European Producers Club and the Ukrainian Television Academy, and has served as a jury member at the Kyiv International Film Festival Molodist.

Anna Huth is a film industry expert and Creative Europe MEDIA specialist focusing on talent development, audiovisual policy, and innovative models in the film industry. She is the founder of team4set.com and film:lab, the largest educational programme for film industry professionals in Poland.

Volodymyr Tretiakov is a composer, producer, and sound engineer, as well as the co-founder of Cinema Sound UA, the first Dolby Atmos-certified studio in Ukraine. He collaborates with Ukrainian, American, and German producers and is a member of both the European Film Academy and the Ukrainian Film Academy.

Applications for the pitching sessions of the Film Industry Office at the 17th Odesa International Film Festival remain open until 1 July 2026.
