Attorney Avril constantly takes on admirable but difficult cases that are impossible to win. Just as she decides it's time to find a "winning case," a charming dog named Cosmo and "his human" – the eccentric Darius – show up at her office. Cosmo has bitten people three times, which means he is to be put down. However, Cosmo's case turns out to be much more complicated and important for the people around him.

Biography

Laetitia Dosch (born 1980, France) is a French and Swiss actress, playwright, and theatre director, known for her roles in films such as "My King," "ACID," and the comedies "Employee of the Year" and "Family Business." She made her film debut in 2009, appearing in a small role in the Franco-Swiss crime melodrama "Accomplices," directed by Frédéric Mermoud.

In 2024, she made her directorial debut with an eccentric tragicomedy about a dog named Cosmo who faces Swiss justice. The film was first showcased in the second most prestigious section of this year's Cannes Film Festival "Un Certain Regard" and received a 10-minute ovation along with remarkably positive feedback from animal rights and environmental organizations.
