In the outskirts of London, Portuguese couple and parents of three, Bela and Jota, struggle to make ends meet. When a misunderstanding arises at school with their deaf daughter, the British social services grow concerned for the safety of their children. LISTEN portrays the tireless battle of these immigrant parents against the law to keep their family together.

Biography
Ana is a multi-award-winning film director born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. Working professionally as an actor and graduating on Painting at the Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Lisbon felt not enough to her. She sold everything to move to London, where she completed her Master's degree at London Film School. Her first attempt towards cinema was through video installation and photography, before directing fiction films, documentaries, music videos and art installations. Her debut fiction feature, LISTEN, premiered in multiple international film festivals across the globe.
