Teresa (María Vázquez) changes her holiday plans to help her mother (Adriana Ozores), who has had a minor accident. Mother and daughter will spend a stifling summer together, unable to agree on even the most trivial things. However, their forceful coexistence will bring to the surface more profound matters than initially expected, and during the summer nights Teresa will experience some revealing moments with her mother.

Biography

As a scriptwriter and director, Celia Rico Clavellino began her career with the award-winning short film 'Luisa no está en casa,' the sole Spanish representation at La Biennale di Venezia in 2012, and the winner of the Gaudí Award for Best Short Film in 2013.

Her debut feature film, 'Viaje al cuarto de una madre,' premiered at the New Directors section of the San Sebastian Film Festival in 2018. It received the Special Jury Mention, the Youth Award, and the Fedeora Critics' Prize. The movie has been released in countries like France, the United States and Argentina, garnered four Goya Awards nominations, and won multiple accolades, including four Gaudí Awards, a Feroz Award, four Asecan Awards, the Sant Jordi Prize (RNE) for Best Debut Feature, and a nomination for Best Ibero-American Debut Feature at the Platino Awards.

In the field of animation, Celia co-created and wrote the children's series "Mironins," which was also released as a feature film. The series earned a nomination for Best Animated Film at the Goya Awards and won the Gaudí Prize in the same category in 2021.
