1980, USSR. Crimean Tatar rights activist and political prisoner Mustafa Jemilev is exiled to the settlement Zyryanka in Yakutia, where he must work at the oxygen station. Three people are headed toward him across the huge country with vastly different goals - to meet, to destroy, to protect.

Biography
Ivan Tymchenko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. He got education at the Faculty of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University. He started as a photojournalist and commercial photographer. In 2009 he switched to filmmaking and worked as a DOP, directing DOP, and later film director. His debut feature drama “Beshoot” (2019) was released in Ukraine and worldwide. His second feature “Oxygen Station” had its World premiere in the official competition of the Tallinn Black Nights 2023.
