Rita, an ordinary but lonely woman, is kidnapped. Her captors are the Árpáds; they claim she is not called Rita but Szilvi, a runaway from their family. Rita eventually understands that the only way out is in—to escape, she must impersonate Szilvi. The more she becomes the lost girl, the more she finds out about the family—and understands that her life is on the line.

Biography

Gábor Holtai is a Hungarian filmmaker whose works explore the psychology of oppression and conformism through absurd, high-concept storytelling. After gaining recognition with his award-winning short film Second Round, he has just completed his first feature, Feels Like Home—maintaining a continued focus on the same themes. He also cares deeply about social justice issues and surrounds himself with old rescue dogs.
