Greice, a 21-year-old Brazilian girl, studies at Fine Arts University in Lisbon. In the early days of summer, she gets involved with a mysterious guy, Afonso. The couple is accused of a strange accident that occurs at the students’ welcoming night party. Greice needs to return to Fortaleza. Hidden in a hotel, while preventing her mother from discovering the problems in which she was involved, Greice tries to find a place of comfort in the world.

Biography

Leonardo Mouramateus (1991, Brazil) is a multiple award-winning screenwriter and director. His short films Mauro em Caiena (2013) and A festa e os cães (2015) won Best Short Film at the Cinéma du Réel film festival. His work has been exhibited in the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Art in São Paulo. Mouramateus graduated in Cinema and Audiovisuals from the Federal University of Ceará and holds an MFA in Art and Multimedia from the University of Lisbon. In 2015, the Cinémathèque Française presented a retrospective of his work. His debut feature film, António Um Dois Três (2017) premiered at IFFR. Greice (2024) his third feature film, which had its world premiere at IFFR 2024 .
