Invisible Battalion consists of six stories of servicewomen told by three Ukrainian film directors: Iryna Tsilyk, Svitlana Lischynska and Alina Gorlova. The film protagonists are different by their life experience, age, military and civil professions, but all of them were united by this war, and their stories create a panoramic picture of the woman’s status in the Armed Forces. The film became an important part of the human rights project of the same name, which actively raises the discussion about women's rights in the security and defense sector.

DIRECTOR - ALINA GORLOVA

Biography

Alina Gorlova is a documentary and feature film director, editor and producer. She was born and based in Ukraine. She has a BA from the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theatre, Film and Television.

She makes documentaries and feature films, social ads and music videos.

Biography

Iryna Tsilyk is a writer, director of feature and documentary films. She was born and based in Ukraine. Graduate of the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinematography and Television.
