Constanze and Jens lead a loving but stressful life, that begins to unravel when their son Luis gets bullied in school.
Torn between oppressive social norms and desperate attempts to protect their son, both clash in a conflict of values that threatens their relationship. Meanwhile Luis is left on his own and caught in a dangerous downward spiral.

Biography
Lucia Chiarla, director, screenwriter, actress, was born in Genoa and graduated from the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts.
In 2006, she moved to Berlin and studied screenwriting at the Skript Akademie (Dekra Schule Berlin).
Her first film, Bye Bye Berlusconi! (screenwriter and actress), was presented at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival. She made her directorial debut in 2018 with the film Reise Nach Jerusalem (The Chairs Game). The film was presented in competition at the German Max Ophüls Preis Festival and won the Best Film Award at the Achtung Berlin festival.
In 2020 she founded the collective “Primavera Productions”, with which she wrote and produced the film Primavera Duemilaventi (Spring 2020). The film won the FIPRESCI Award of German-language film critics at the Filmkunstfest MV in 2021.
Film About Luis, directed and written by her, was presented in competition at the Zurich Film Festival and at the Rome Film Fest, where it won the “Sorriso Diverso” Award.
