Biography

Vojtěch Strakatý (born 1988, Prague) graduated directing and scriptwriting at FAMO in Písek, Czech Republic. The script of his feature debut After Party was awarded the “Stars of Tomorrow” award at Karlovy Vary IFF 2018. The film was shot in 2022 and was selected for the Orizzonti Extra section of the 81st Venice International Film Festival in 2024. His 2nd feature The Other Side Of Summer was shot in 2023 and is currently in postproduction.
