Due to global warming and deforestation, the inhabitants of the Carpathians are threatened by floods. Vasyl Pavlovich, a forester, manages the teams engaged in harvesting wood for state orders. His house is under threat of flooding. But he claims that global climate change is to blame for the floods.

Biography
Volodymyr Bakum is a Ukrainian film director who graduated from the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Film and Television University (Master's degree). He has won many Ukrainian film festivals with his student films. While studying, he made the trilogy Donbas, I Love You. His graduation film Fogs received funding from the Ukrainian Cultural Fund of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (2019). As part of the project From idea to screen. The screenplay for his next short film, My Family and Other Animals, was one of the winners of the Kira Muratova Screenplay Competition (2021). Also, the project of the same film won the pitching of the Shift Film Festival 2022 from Cinecud (Holland, Heerlen), and the project also received a post-production scholarship from House of Europe (2022).
