The film is about the artist Yevhen Golubenko, better known in society as the “husband of Kira Muratova”.

The film is called “Domicile” and was filmed in the artist's apartment, where he lives now and where he lived together with director Kira Muratova. Upstairs is the artist's studio. Filming took place from November 2021 to February 2023.

The entire interior is filled with paintings, next to awards, numerous awards from Kira.

Now Golubenko lives in an apartment with two cats, Vasya and Tanya. He works, reflects on life, recalls, in particular, his work with Kira Muratova.

Periodically, we hear the howling of a siren in military Odessa, but this does not prevent Golubenko from working. “Domicile” is something like “home address”.

Biography

Serhii Rakhmanin born in 1956, place of birth – the city of Kurgan, USSR. Citizen of Ukraine.

Graduated from the University of Culture and Arts (Chelyabinsk) in 1981 – course of A. Leykin, Theater “Mannequin” – majoring in theater director.

He worked as a director and artistic director in the Mimodrama Studio Theater (Kovrov) in 1979-83. In the same years, he met Andrei Tarkovsky.

Under the influence of Tarkovsky's work and under his direction, several film scripts were written, in particular the film script “VIGILIA”, which was later realized in the full-length film “MAN K”. Friendship and apprenticeship with Tarkovsky provoked, in the future, a career in film directing. He began working professionally in cinema as an assistant director in 1989 (Odesa Film Studio).

In Odesa, two full-length films “Lyudyna K” (producer Boris Balchynos) and “Druhiy” (producer Nadiya Bezsokyrna) were shot at independent studios. In 2024, the film “Man K” was shown at the cinema “Cinemathèque”, Paris (La Cinémathèque française).
