Dovzhenko: Full of Compromise is an in-depth documentary portrait of one of the greatest film directors of the 20th century, Oleksandr Dovzhenko. The film follows his tumultuous journey, from his early days in cinema to creating iconic films that defined Ukrainian poetic cinema, while navigating the challenges of artistic integrity and political pressures in the Soviet era.

Biography
Ukrainian documentary film director and producer, cinematographer of feature and documentary films. He is a member of the BABYLON'13 group of documentary filmmakers, who covered the events of the Maidan and the Russian-Ukrainian war (from 2014 to the present).
He graduated from the Kyiv National I.K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Film and Television University. He has also participated in the film workshops Ex Oriente and Dok Incubator (from the Documentary Film Institute in the Czech Republic).
