We meet a family brought to its knees by the father's alcohol abuse. He loves them all uncontrollably, but the booze matters more. The family has him forcibly admitted to treatment, only to discover that the real problems lie much deeper than the father’s bottles buried in the garden.

Biography

Christina Rosendahl had her breakthrough in 2002 with the documentary Stargazer about the band Swan Lee. Since then, she has had a particular passion for films for children and young people, expressed in her feature debut Triple Dare (2006). This was followed by The Idealist (2015) and The Good Traitor (2020), both produced by Jonas Frederiksen. Both films were nominated for several Danish Film Awards.
