2024. Legendary investigator Major Skoruk, long believed dead since the battle for Hostomel in 2022, is unexpectedly discovered barely conscious in the trunk of a collaborator’s car. The last thing he remembers is enlisting as a volunteer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine — and then, nothing. After his return, Skoruk begins to draw mysterious sketches, each one depicting a crime that has yet to happen.

DIRECTOR - OLEKSII TARANENKO

Biography

Oleksii Taranenko, Ukrainian film director and screenwriter was born in 1976 in Dnipro, Ukraine. He has been working as a director of commercials and films since 2017. In 2013, his documentary “Stylization of Aftertaste” won a special mention at The Film Skillet Documentary Film Contest (USA). He is the author of several scripts, commercials and features.

“I Work at the Cemetery” (2022) is his feature debut as director. This film has been selected and received several awards at national and international film festivals, including Warsaw FF, Molodist IFF, British Independent Film Festival.

DIRECTOR - DENYS TARASOV

Biography

Denys Tarasov born on August 9, 1984. Ukrainian film director, member of the Ukrainian Film Academy and the Council for State Support of Cinematography.

Graduated from the film faculty of the Karpenko-Karyi National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television. He has over 18 years of experience in the industry and has created dozens of series, television shows, feature films, and documentary projects for leading Ukrainian television channels and production companies.
