Milan Weiner leads the renowned International News Office at Czechoslovak Radio, a group of brave journalists – celebrities in their own right – whose posters hang in a great many homes. A young man, Tomáš, joins the ranks of icons such as Jiří Dienstbier, Věra Šťovíčková or Luboš Dobrovský. It happened sort of by mistake, it had always been his younger brother Pavel’s dream to work for the newsroom. Until now, Tomáš focused on keeping them both safe. What he doesn’t realize is that the journalists are in the crosshairs of the Secret Service. The surveillance only intensifies when a recording appears, one that – if broadcasted – could change the fate of many. The time is running out, the tension is rising, and action is needed. Will Tomáš join those who will go down in history, or will he choose to protect his underage brother, the only family he has left after their parents died?
